Advocates for Better Care (ABC) is the statewide system designed by South Carolina to administer the child care program funded by the Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF).
South Carolina parents who meet established income guidelines may be eligible for assistance with the cost of their weekly child care. Income eligible parents must be working, in school, or in a training program.
Parents participating in the ABC Child Care Program may choose who they want to provide their child care. The program offers parents a variety of choices for receiving child care services and makes quality child care more available. ABC also works to improve child care for all children in South Carolina.
