The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) wishes to ensure Medicaid providers are accurately informed of changes to the Medicaid program. The agency recently has become aware of erroneous information being circulated about the pending Healthy Connections Choices expansion.

PROVIDER NOTICE
Conference call regarding Healthy Connections Choices Expansion.
Medicaid beneficiaries choose how they receive medical services through the Healthy Connections Choices Program. The SC Department of Health and Human Services (the Medicaid Agency) has requested approval from the Federal Office of Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) to expand the program so that eligible individuals will be required to choose from two types of health care plans, a Managed Care Organization (MCO) or a Medical Homes Network (MHN). This call will give any interested person an opportunity to talk with CMS to express their opinion or concern.
