Who is eligible to become an enhanced provider in the ABC Child Care Program?
- Licensed centers
- Licensed churches
- Licensed group child care
- License family child care
- Registered family child care
- Exempt facilities
Enhanced providers in the ABC Child Care program must agree NOT to use corporal punishment.
The program must receive an on-site visit and meet quality child care standards set by the ABC Child Care Program.
A list of ABC Child Care Programs is given to ABC parents. Parents can choose the child care provider they want for their child.

If you are interested in becoming an enhanced provider in the ABC Child Care Program, you may request information and/or a packet be sent to you in one of two ways:
- Call our toll-free line at 1-800-262-4416 and follow the instructions on the recorded message.
- Click on the link below and find the program monitor who serves the county in which your facility is located and send an e-mail to the program monitor. Be sure to include pertinent information, such as your name, name of your child care facility (if you have one), mailing address, and the type of facility you have, such as a family day care home, group day care home, center-based facility, afterschool program, etc. It is also helpful to include a phone number in case the program monitor has questions.
