Telemedicine Policy Revision
Description: The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) has revised its Telemedicine policy effective for dates of service on or after November 1, 2011. Information pertaining to service sites, provider types, services eligible for reimbursement, guidelines of required conditions for service, reimbursement criteria, documentation needed, and non-covered services are all outlined in the updated section of our manual, which is titled “Telemedicine”.

Transition Of Vaccine Assurance For All Children (VAFAC) To Vaccine For Children (VFC)
Description: Based On Changes Made To The Vaccine Assurance For All Children (Vafac) Program By The South Carolina Department Of Health And Environmental Control (Scdhec), All Providers Must Re-Enroll From Vafac To Vaccine For Children (Vfc) To Avoid Interruption Of Vaccine Ordering Capabilities.
