FINAL NOTICE Address Change for SFTP-Based Medicaid Claims


Beginning Wednesday, Jan. 28, 2015, at 8 a.m. EST, the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) will finalize its transition to a new Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)-based Medicaid claims submission system.

Earlier in 2014 notifications were issued to providers when SCDHHS completed the initial backend migration to this new system. This is the Final Notice that the legacy addresses are now being retired. All SFTP-based Medicaid claims should be transmitted to: or

SCDHHS recommends using the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) to prevent any future configuration changes needed in provider systems. The IP address is provided for select cases where provider systems do not support FQDNs. No changes other than the address are required.

The following are being permanently retired and will no longer respond after Jan. 28, 2015: and

Currently, 52 claims submitters utilize the legacy name and/or IP address. These providers have been contacted directly in addition to this Final Notice.
