Below is a schedule of the free provider workshops offered by the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS), including Medicaid Basics, Comprehensive Web Tool and Claim-level Adjustments and Third-Party Liability.

Medicaid Basics

Discover the South Carolina Healthy Connections Medicaid program. This course provides overviews of general policies and topics, including eligibility, claim filing options, the remittance package, third-party liability (TPL) and claim-level adjustments.

Explore all the available features on the South Carolina Healthy Connections Medicaid web-based claims submission tool. This class navigates claim entry and submission, eligibility checks, claim status and e-remits through the online tool.

 

Overview of Claim-level Adjustments and Third-Party Liability

Examine third-party liability (TPL) reporting responsibilities, refund process, claim adjudication, edit resolution and other resource information. Also learn the detail-level process that gives professional providers the ability to submit claim-level adjustments directly to South Carolina Healthy Connections Medicaid.
