Individuals with Disabilities Education Act Part C Program (BabyNet) Updates

PROVIDER ALERT

Reminder: Healthy Connections Medicaid Providers MUST Have a BabyNet Enrollment Agreement to Serve BabyNet Children Beginning Friday
As of Friday, Sept. 13, all providers intending to bill for services rendered through the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) Part C program, commonly known as “BabyNet,” must have completed a BabyNet enrollment agreement. This includes providers who are also enrolled as a Healthy Connections Medicaid provider, as the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) announced in the July 10 Medicaid bulletin. Providers who have not completed and submitted the required information to SCDHHS by Sept. 13 will be considered for administrative action, up to – and including – termination from the BabyNet provider network. Information and questions should be submitted through bnproviderenrollment@scdhhs.gov.
