October 2017 Nursing Facility Provider Trainings

PROVIDER ALERT

The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) Division of Community and Facility Services will host three regional trainings on policy updates, billing and reimbursement for nursing facility providers. These trainings, scheduled in October, are for any nursing facility provider that is enrolled in the South Carolina Medicaid program through SCDHHS.

Provider training is scheduled from 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. Oct. 11 in Columbia, Oct. 17 in Charleston and Oct. 25 in Greenville, S.C. Training details, including the logistics for each location, are attached.

Since the training will cover policies governing billing and reimbursement for nursing facilities, it is important for nursing facility billing specialists to participate.

Registration is mandatory for all attendees, as space is limited. To register, please visit the Healthy Connections Medicaid Provider Education website, https://medicaidelearning.remote-learner.net/, or call the South Carolina Medicaid Provider Service Center at (888) 289-0709 and choose the option '1.'

Thank you for your continued support of the South Carolina Healthy Connections Medicaid program.
