Public Hearings for Proposed Regulations

A public hearing before the Honorable Deborah Brooks Durden, Administrative Law Judge, will be held beginning at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2017, on the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services' (SCDHHS) Proposed Regulations Document No. 4746. The hearing will be held at the Administrative Law Court in the second floor hearing room of the Edgar A. Brown building located at 1205 Pendleton Street in Columbia. This hearing will be conducted in accordance with the Rules of Procedure of the Administrative Law Court. The Order of Proceedings is detailed in section 47 of the Rules of Procedure on pages 22 and 23.

SCDHHS published Proposed Regulations relating to Document Nos. 4744, 4745 and 4746 in the State Register on Feb. 24, 2017. In response, SCDHHS received eight requests for hearings and/or comments.

Based on the issues raised in these comments, SCDHHS is terminating the promulgations in Document Nos. 4744 and 4745. The notices of the termination of the promulgations will appear in the April 2017 issue of the State Register and the public hearings scheduled for SCDHHS' Proposed Regulations in Document Nos. 4744 and 4755 on Tuesday, April 18, at 1 p.m. and 10 a.m., respectively, are cancelled.
