The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) gives notice of the following action regarding its methods and standards for setting payment rates for Dental Services under the State Plan under Title XIX of the Social Security Act Medical Assistance Program (Medicaid).

Effective for services provided on or after Jan. 1, 2023, SCDHHS will amend the South Carolina Title XIX state plan to increase the reimbursement rates for the State Plan covered dental services delivered to beneficiaries who are under 21 years of age.
