Healthy Connections Medicaid team members and managed care plans will never ask for money, gift cards or something else of monetary value via text, email or a phone call. If someone contacts you asking for something of monetary value to get or keep Medicaid coverage, please report it by contacting the Medicaid fraud hotline at (888) 364-3224 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by sending an email to FraudRes@scdhhs.gov.

Healthy Connections Prime Provider Training Module

The Medicaid E-Learning site provides training materials and information on upcoming training workshops on Medicaid topics. Information is available regarding Medicaid basics, claim filing, eligibility and the Web Tool.

Additional Training Options

  • Education Events: Training workshops, and webinars hosted by SCDHHS and/or SC Thrive. 
  • Dementia Dialogues training: Training is available on recognizing the signs and symptoms associated with Alzheimer's Disease, how to communicate effectively with families dealing with Alzheimer's disease or related dementias and how to appropriately respond to challenging behaviors by using non-pharmacological strategies and behavior tracking techniques.
