The purpose of this meeting is to examine the current Medicaid coordinated care system to determine what is working and not working and develop policies that improve health outcomes, cost efficiency, and patient and provider satisfaction. We will also analyze best practices in Medicaid managed care and Medicaid agencies nationwide.

Description: Effective For Services Provided On or After October 1, 2011, The SCDHHS Proposes To Amend The South Carolina (SC) Title XIX State Plan For Inpatient Hospital Services By Creating An Upper Payment Limit Program For South Carolina Private Hospitals Who Are Affiliated With A State or Unit of Local Government Through A Low Income And Needy Patient Care Collaboration Agreement For Purposes of Providing Healthcare Services To Low Income And Needy Medicaid Patients.
