Nonrecurring Legislative Contracts

On July 1, 2022, Governor Henry McMaster issued Executive Order 2022-19, which directs state agencies to disclose online detailed information about the entities who are receiving earmarked appropriations from the FY 2022-23 General Appropriations Act. The governor’s executive order requires compliance with FY 2022-23 state budget Proviso 117.21. In order to promote transparency and accountability in the state’s budgetary process, information received by SCDHHS from organizations it contracts with through the state’s budget process will be posted on this website.

Medicaid Annual Eligibility Review Dashboard

The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) resumed its standard Medicaid eligibility annual reviews process April 1, 2023. This federally required process is in place to ensure those enrolled in Medicaid programs continue to meet established eligibility criteria. The restart of this process was required by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023, which was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Joe Biden Dec. 23, 2022.

The dashboard below includes data related to the restart of South Carolina’s federally required Medicaid annual eligibility review process and Healthy Connections Medicaid full-benefit enrollment trend data. Data is updated either monthly or weekly.
