Public Notice of Final Action for Rehabilitative Behavioral Health Services (RBHS) Rate Increases for Services Provided by Master’s Level Practitioners and Licensed Psychologists in Private Organizations

Effective on or after July 1, 2024, SCDHHS will increase rates for core RBHS provided by private master's level practitioners and licensed psychologists. The services impacted by this rate increase are denoted with an HO (master's level) or AH (licensed psychologist) modifier depending on provider type, include the following:

SCDHHS is making these changes to support access to behavioral health services, enhance the state's provider network, and ensure services are delivered effectively.

Based on the actions above, SCDHHS projects a budget impact of approximately $299,000 (total dollars) per year.
