Rate Increase for Adult Day Health Care Providers (S5102)
The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) has increased the reimbursement rate for adult day health care services provided to Healthy Connections Medicaid members participating in home and community-based waiver programs.
Effective for dates of service on or after Oct. 1, 2021, the rate for adult day health care billed using Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) code S5102 has increased to $60 per day. Adult day health care services billed under S5102 will continue to be reimbursed at $56.40 per day for dates of service prior to Oct. 1, 2021. This change is reflected in the community long-term care (CLTC) fee schedule available on SCDHHS’ website.
