Public Notice of Final Action for Rehabilitative Behavioral Health and Substance Use Services Rate Increases
The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) gives notice of the following actions to update reimbursement rates for rehabilitative behavioral health and substance use services rendered by rehabilitative behavioral health services (RBHS) providers, Office of Substance Use Services-affiliated organizations (OSUS), and licensed independent practitioners under the State Plan under Title XIX of the Social Security Act Medical Assistance Program (Medicaid).
The services impacted by this rate increase, will be effective for dates of service on or after Dec. 1, 2025. SCDHHS is making these changes to support needed access to behavioral health services and ensure services are delivered effectively for all eligible members.
SCDHHS anticipates an estimated annual budget impact of $1.7 million total dollars.

Any written comments submitted may be reviewed by the public at SCDHHS, Bureau of Policy, 1801 Main Street, Columbia, South Carolina, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.
