The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) will publish a revised Rehabilitative Therapy and Audiological Services Provider manual in early 2024. The revised manual will consolidate program information and requirements, billing procedures and provider services guidelines for rehabilitative therapy and audiological services delivered in practice or clinic settings. A draft of the new Rehabilitative Therapy and Audiological Services Provider manual is available for review here.

Providers are encouraged to submit feedback about the policy changes included in the draft manual by emailing MedicaidStatePlan@scdhhs.gov by Jan. 15, 2024. The revised manual will go into effect and be posted on the provider manual page of SCDHHS’ website Feb. 1, 2024.
