SCDHHS Launches Redesigned Website
COLUMBIA, S.C. – The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) is excited to announce the launch of the agency’s redesigned website. The agency’s URL will remain www.scdhhs.gov, but users will notice a new look and feel to the website. This includes several features that improve the overall usability and brings it in line with leading public agency website industry standards.
The redesigned website features several updates, including a modern design, a new layout and the integration of dozens of pages that previously existed as extensions of the agency’s main site.
Users will benefit from the following when using the website:
- Increased accessibility and easier navigation;
- Faster load times for all web pages;
- Enhanced search functionality; and,
- Improved optimization across mobile devices, web browsers and operating systems.
The website will now operate on an updated content management system. This will greatly improve SCDHHS’ ability to update and maintain content. The website is also fully compliant with the Americans with Disabilities Act, and all content is optimized for search engines.
The re-designed website was developed in partnership with Columbia-based digital agency Cyberwoven.
