Veterans Day Holiday Provider Payment Schedule Update
The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) will operate on an updated schedule for Healthy Connections Medicaid payments this week to accommodate the 2022 Veterans Day holiday.
Friday, Nov. 11, 2022, is a South Carolina state and banking holiday. Due to the holiday, providers who receive payments by electronic funds transfer will receive their payments either Thursday, Nov. 10 or Monday, Nov. 14 depending on their bank’s policy. Claims submitted by 5 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 5 are included in this payment.
Providers should direct any questions related to this bulletin to the Provider Service Center at (888) 289-0709. The Provider Service Center’s hours of operations are 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday and 8:30 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday. Please note the Provider Service Center will be closed Friday, Nov. 11 in observance of Veterans Day.
