HCBS Rule Workgroup

The HCBS Rule Workgroup is an advisory group to the SC Department of Health and Human Services. It initially reviewed the requirements of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) regulation on Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) and helped determine the actions needed to come into compliance with this regulation. The workgroup also contributed to the creation of a Transition Plan that outlined SCDHHS actions to come into compliance, which is required by CMS.
