Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) services are part of the South Carolina State Medicaid Plan and covered by SCDHHS-contracted managed care organizations (MCOs).
ASD providers must enroll with SCDHHS as Medicaid ASD providers and contract with MCOs, should they wish to continue providing services to patients enrolled in a Medicaid MCO.
