If someone contacts you asking for something of monetary value to get or keep Medicaid coverage, please report it by contacting the Medicaid fraud hotline at (888) 364-3224 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. or by sending an email to FraudRes@scdhhs.gov.

PCG HCBS Site Visits

This page provides information regarding the Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) site visits that were conducted by SCDHHS' contracted vendor, Public Consulting Group (PCG). These site visits were conducted on all residential and non-residential settings that contract with the South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (SCDDSN) to provide waiver services to waiver participants.

Site visits began in February 2017 and concluded in October 2017. PCG used an assessment tool to evaluate each agency's facilities to determine the level of compliance with the HCBS requirements. This tool is similar to the self-assessment tool each provider completed in 2015. Please note that these site visits were not optional.
