The Head and Spinal Cord Injury (HASCI) waiver serves persons with traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, or both, or a similar disability not associated with the process of a progressive degenerative illness, disease, dementia, or a neurological disorder related to aging. The services offered in this waiver are meant to prevent and/or delay institutionalization in a nursing home or ICF/IID. All participants must meet either the Nursing Facility level of care or the ICF/IID level of care criteria.
